​The Cottage is a comedy play by American playwright Sandy Rustin about a woman named Sylvia who decides to tell her husband and her lover's wife about her affair while spending their anniversary at a cottage in the English countryside in 1923. The play explores themes such as love, marriage, identity, infidelity, and fate. As secrets unravel, the true meaning of these concepts are called into question
