Code of Conduct

Conifer StageDoor Theatre (SDT) is a community-based organization dedicated to providing theatre education and experience for both young people 18 and under, and adults. Participation in SDT’s programs is subject to the observance of the organization’s rules and procedures. The activities outlined below are strictly prohibited. Any participant or staff member who violates this Code is subject to discipline, up to and including removal from the program.

  • Abusive language towards a staff member, volunteer or another participant.

  • Possession or use of unauthorized alcoholic beverages
    or illegal drugs on SDT’s property or reporting to a rehearsal or performance while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  • Possession or use of any kind of tobacco product, vaping device or any other items (such as gum, lozenges, or patches) that deliver nicotine by participants in SDT’s education programs. This prohibition does not apply to staff members over the age of 18 or participants in SDT’s adult company productions unless those participants are under the age of 18.

  • Bringing onto SDT’s property dangerous or unauthorized
    materials such as explosives, firearms, weapons or other similar items.

  • Discourtesy or rudeness to a fellow participant, staff member or volunteer.

  • Verbal, physical or visual harassment of another participant, staff member or volunteer.

  • Actual or threatened violence toward any individual or group.

  • Conduct endangering the life, safety, health or well-being of others.

  • Failure to follow any SDT policy or procedure.

  • Bullying or taking unfair advantage of any participant.

  • Failing to cooperate with an adult supervisor/leader/mentor.

  • Failure to comply with the terms of the SDT Student Theatre Contract.

Want to Volunteer?

We are always looking for parent volunteers to help create the magic.  We welcome you to join our volunteer opportunities in events and special activities, backstage activities (props, costumes, set construction, stage management), tech (lights, sound), or helping out in our tickets and concessions.

About COVID-19

StageDoor Theatre is committed to the safety and health of our students, volunteers, families, and patrons.  We are open for classes, workshops, and performances based on guidelines from the State of Colorado and Jefferson County.

Our goal is always to provide our students with an environment that encourages imagination, fun, learning, and a true immersive theatre experience.
