If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

This unconventional “day-in-the-life” one act offers a series of duet and trio scenes with quirky characters, quick action, and fast-paced dialogue. Add in musical-like moments — without any music — and here is a unique patchwork of brief hallway scenes that perfectly capture the hustle and bustle of an average school day.
Whether it’s misguided cheerleaders shirking responsibility in favor of flair, loveable loser athletes consoling each other in the face of mediocrity, or friendships being formed after tragedy, the character-driven scene work provides plenty of laughable moments peppered with poignant vignettes.

With a wonderful message of friendship and belonging, this musical features a variety of charming school and sea-creature characters who admire the famous Rainbow Fish, the most beautiful fish in all the ocean. When Rainbow Fish refuses to share his (or her!) vibrant, shimmering scales ,the whole ocean seems to turn against the vain creature. Unhappy that no one adores him anymore, the Rainbow Fish seeks out the wise Octopus, whose tentacles can also be played by separate actors. Octopus helps the young fish learn that it’s far better to be admired for being kind than for being beautiful.
